Mike Can Drive A Winch Too

Michael Hogan, the club Vice-President had his first opportunity to drive the winch at the Sunraysia Gliding Club (Mildura) today. Mike launched the SGC Blanik three times under the supervision of Keith Hill and Adrian Ginn. Mike reports that he was a bit slow on putting on the power during the early part of the ground roll, but each climb got better as he built up confidence. So Mike's looking at doing some more winch driving at Mildura between visits to Horsham.
