Roland Brooke is the most recent club member to achieve his first solo in an RAAus aircraft. Roland was presented with his certificate at the clubs recent Christmas Dinner.
Roland went solo on 2 October 2021, the day of hist fifteenth birthday.
Roland started his aviation journey at a very young age, Roland was regularly taken up in his father’s Jabiru J170 to rock or fly him to sleep.
Now 15 years later Roland has over 50 hours in the family Jabiru J170 and he is well on his way to achieving his cross country endorsement.
